Privacy policy

1. Controller
The controller is Pravno.rs (contact: info@pravno.rs). This policy applies to the pravno.rs site.
2. Data we process
A functional cookie storing the selected language and standard server logs (IP address, request time) for security and troubleshooting. Accounts do not exist yet; when introduced, this policy will be amended before processing starts.
For the pravno.rs domain and for delivering and protecting the site we use Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.) as a processor: it operates the domain’s DNS, and when traffic passes through its network it terminates the TLS connection and therefore sees every request — the visitor’s IP address, the URL requested, browser headers, and the time. It uses that to deliver the page and to stop automated bulk extraction of content and other abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the security and availability of the service (ZZPL Art. 12(1)(6)).
For error reporting and performance measurement we use Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.), also as a processor: it receives the error together with technical context — the page path, the status and duration of the request, the application version. It is configured not to send the visitor’s IP address or the headers that carry it, and query strings are stripped from URLs before an event is sent, so search text does not reach this service either.
For aggregate visit statistics we use Umami (Umami Cloud), a cookieless analytics service processing data on our behalf: the page visited, the referrer, browser and device type, language, and country, plus whether the feedback invitation was shown, opened, or dismissed. The IP address is used only transiently to derive the country and a daily aggregate visitor count and is not stored; visitors are not tracked across sites or over time. Search query text is not sent to this service.
If you send feedback through the “Help us develop pravno.rs” form, we store the rating, the topic you chose, the message text, the path of the page it was sent from (never the search query) and the language. We do not ask for an e-mail address, a name or any other contact detail, we do not record your IP address, and the message is not linked to any persistent visitor identifier. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the service (ZZPL Art. 12(1)(6)). Messages are kept for at most 24 months. Please do not put personal data in the message text; to have a message deleted, write to info@pravno.rs quoting the message number shown after you send it.
3. Data from public registers
Company profiles display data on representatives and founders as published in public registers (APR). The legal basis is the public nature of the register and the public’s legitimate interest in verifying business entities, in line with the Serbian Personal Data Protection Act (ZZPL). Requests to correct source data go to the register; requests concerning display on this site: info@pravno.rs.
4. Cookies and local storage
We use functional cookies (language choice) and, only if a security check is triggered on the network the site is delivered through, one strictly necessary security cookie set by Cloudflare (cf_clearance), which records nothing but the fact that the check was passed. No third-party marketing or analytics cookies — visit analytics runs without cookies.
In your browser’s own storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) we keep only whether the feedback invitation has been dismissed or feedback has already been sent — two timestamps and one flag for the current session, with no identifier of any kind. That data stays in your browser, is never sent to us, and exists solely so the same invitation does not greet you again (90 days after a dismissal, 180 days after feedback is sent).
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, and objection under the ZZPL. Contact info@pravno.rs; you may also lodge a complaint with the Serbian Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.
